Mixed compound in my bath, washed down my newly installed sanitation pipe and flushed down the drainpipe thus causing a blockage. Nice one Alltrades I'm sure the AA will be happy with the quality of your work!

Not been home for 14 months and I come back to see this! It's a floor mix as the kitchen was done not long before I discovered this. Alltrades do you abuse all homes like this?
Socket1
Переглядів 2314 днів тому
Double socks in the Living room wasn't cleaned properly, managed to clear the left one but the right is still not good. Question for AA would it not be cheaper just to add a new one, or keep coming back to fix it?
Splashback
Переглядів 1514 днів тому
Splashback height is 700mm and the Gas hob requirement is 750mm. Why didn't they fix a 750mm Splashback?

Cooker has a 5mm Gap and the Cabinet is not Scribed, foam filled and has paint on it. Very poor.

2 Fuse Spurs, but the Appliances are wired to 1, Not good! Note the water pipe over the electrics, do the AA consider this to be safe? Is the house habitable?

Poorly installed Kitchen by Alltrades. The AA offer a pittance to replace the Kitchen therefore you are forced to use the AA preferred company.

Poor drains and lack of maintenance by United Utilities caused a flood in June 2023.

Dangerous moment ever!!!
also an idea, but it can allow for compendium hoods to be attached to the front of a lens; as the 'gap' is Not always needed at the rear, to account for the 'bag' bellows attachment. the gap can also allow for square filter systems (Lee 100/150) as LF or MF lenses have such a big diamater >77mm so the square is more economical, as it doesn't need to be the lens size, or thread/bayonett (in the case of hasselblad, which uses this fixing system), and are easier to make, a holder and filter glass, no need for the sandwitch of elements as in a circular polariser, or nd filter; the clearence allows for more filter movement downwards, eg for a lower horizon line, or for getting the gradient line lower in the frame.
Yes, I did this when it was rotated. The important part is the extra room and still having the tilt function.
Please remove the music. It's really distracting and brings nothing to an otherwise useful video.
what is a suitable tripod?
Have a chat with your local dealer they will recommend according to your camera/shooting requirements.
I've been trying to research how to do Tilt and shift with my GFX100. I found this and....WOW!! Ok, I"m researching now. I was hoping to do something like this with my Hasselblad V system lenses, but now that I see this, I might could also use a couple of my view camera Nikon large format lens on this too. Time to see what's on the Canbo site. Thank you!!
The Cambo camera platform is solid ad you will love the smooth movements. As for the Fuji, it produces very good quality RAW files - it's a great combination. In the past I had Nikon LF lenses converted to fit the WRS and Leaf digital back, the resolving quality and sharpness was good. Once you fit the lenses you'll be able to check the lens image circle - with the lenses you'll be able to stitch some pretty big files! Good luck!
Wow, this is better than any digital large format system out there!
why didn't you show more of it? Tell more about it..
The most respectful reviewer.
Stunning products high quality!
I just purchased this lens a few days ago: The fact that I could use my regular 100mm filter set on this lens using the Irix IFH-100 filter holder ($78 from Adorama) clinched it for me. Virtually all other 14 or 15mm lenses require bulky and cumbersome 150mm filters and holders. This lens is a great value and a brilliant design for landscape and astro photography. I can't wait to take mine for a test outing.
Thanks.... no one else seems to know this!
Hi Paul, thanks for your comment. The extension is manly for focus, however when I tried using a lens with a large filter thread using a filter system was a problem. Less of a problem when extended. Good luck using your Actus!
Great video - no need for the cheesey background music lol.
Oh c'mon you have cheese on your videos! Otherwise it'd just be a plain burger! LOL And as I had no music budget they were lucky to get the cheese! ;0)
What tripod is that? Looks solid!
I wanna drink with this guy
Andy drinks tea! As I do, we're both non-drinkers of the alcohol type! Probably why our images are so sharp!
Hi Georg E, yes its a nice bit of kit. There are options to add rear standard tilt. If you're using a DB, then you can add the Actus standards to the Ultima which has all movements. If you want to keep the technical camera small, then you can add the rear tilt unit ACDB-987 here's the link blog.cambo.com/2018/09/24/cambo-acdb-987-rear-tilt-unit/
very interesting this Actus. But why has the rear mount no tilt option as the Sinar do?
Very good video, I really like the result. beautiful accent btw
what a terrible accent %)
A old saying "If you don't have anything good to say, then don't say it." Constructive criticism is welcome not irrelevant comments.
Andy is one of the best astro, wildlife and bird photographers, his accent is irrelevant - do you have an accent? Or even something constructive to say?
@@CharlesWoods360 I think it's a crackin good accent. Ignore Mister schlomski schlomski.
What software does cambo recommend for the stitching?
Cambo have designed, manufactured and supplied technical cameras for many years. They have a lot of satisfied customers. Have you ever suggested your comments to Cambo? or any manufacturer? Get in touch they will be happy to speak to you sales@cambo.com
@@jacovanlith5082 It’s a shame Kodak and Sinar no longer exist. Yes I remember the Norma, the books are good, technical and functional. Unfortunately I no longer work with Cambo as
With the old Irix 15 mm....?
hahaha...well spotted, it's an English expression/idiom... for example "How the devil are you old bean?" One that I heard at a trade show by a large lens manufacturer..."It's a cracking lens!"... it wasn't a lens that was cracked but that he was particularly impressed with the quality. I'm sure being Dutch you have many different ways of expressing how you like products.
Hi Charles nice video. Cant wait to the promised one about focus stacking using focusing scale of this lens =D
Great video. What lens are you using on that? Would love to see this set up in person. I’m a photographer from Manchester and I can tell by your accent that you’re not from far away from me! Haha
Sorry been busy shooting and testing new products! I don't have an accent! I'm from the capital of Europe, Manchester! lol My business is to test kit and publish online, mainly technical cameras and associated products. it takes a long time to get suppliers to deliver kit and no sooner do you have the kit it needs to be shipped back... We used the Cambo Actar 60mm lens designed to give 75mm image circle. Thanks for the compliment, hope our next videos will be of interest. cheers, Charles.
@@CharlesWoods360 Accent, as per the dictionary: a distinctive mode of pronunciation of a language, especially one associated with a particular nation, LOCALITY, or social class. Next time, just say you don't have a foreign accent, that'll be more politically correct.
Kester Wong the reply I sent contained “lol” which is expressing a joke. We tell jokes in our Mancunian accents about our locality... Politically Correct? I have no desire to be corrected politically.
@@CharlesWoods360 Good on you Sir for the comeback. This is a super instructional - I am only waiting for the Fuji X modular to be unleashed for the pennies in the piggy to be at risk - I may have to even stop using my GX680 - my business is environmental portraiture/fashion in the UK using 4 Elinchrom ELB 400i's. Selective focus for me is a must - I thought about just getting a D/back for this set up but love the features of the GFX system so it will be a win win for me once they launch that beast - did someone say 100mp? Thanks again have a super day - Simon
nice intro, but wish you could do a video of the ultima camera system, how it is assembled, focused etc. ( not too many videos of cambo products in 4x5, esp. since the intro of the Actus system for d.s.l.r.' s )- what a crying shame, as they made quite beautiful analogue systems much akin to Linhof and Sinar, and the fact everything is digital these days nothing is done to further the tech of the film based technical cameras, and their quirks, looks, Bokeh which can not be replicated by ANY digital sensor.
Hi Andy, the intro was quite a while ago and since then Cambo have promoted products that are high in demand. We field a lot of questions about the Actus, and understandably, as we are encouraging the younger generations to use a camera with movement. The Ultima is on my radar as Cambo have added the Actus parts to the front and rear foundations. Its a good idea as the photographer is given the option of using with combination in and out of the studio. Thanks for subscribing and I'll do my best to push an Ultima review. cheers, Charles.
Does your Acuts have the rise-fall design flaw? when doing tha fall you cant go dawn to -15?
Hi Lucian, sorry for the late reply we've been out of the studio for a while travelling. There isn't a flaw that I know and I have spoken to Cambo about your findings. I will post 2 blogs soon at blog.cambo.com to explain the improvements/changes of the various Actus models. this may answer your question. If not you can post me images of the problem and I will investigate for you. cheers, Charles.
Nice result. Very impressive.
Hi Mike, Thanks, we did this adhoc, met for a chat in sunny Manchester and as the weather was good we decided not to waste the day.
thanks for this video. i already own the irix lens and a 95mm 10 stop from formatt hitech .. really wanted to see the irix cpl in action before buying so this has helped me a lot .. cheers gaz from gazphotography.co.uk
Does any of this stuff still exist? Serious question.
of course it does, Serious answer :0)
It still exists, but is difficult to find. If you're interested in stability, ease of movement and did I say stability, this is the way to go. Especially if you're mounting cameras worth tens of thousands of dollars and lots of weight.
He is using the Cambo WIde RS...so it is about using a Cambo camera. It was shot at Sir Terry Farrells working space, its all in the text under the video of what Andy was asked to shoot...'lower ground design offices and also his residence above this working space.' The photographer shares his experience when using the equipment as listed in the text.
Sorry his was done sometime ago and there is no cleaner version.
@MrLeicavidom Hi, for some reason I haven't managed to retrieve these mails. Please email me your detaiis cambouk@gmail.com and we can talk prices.
@GermanC1000 The Wide RS is available through Cambo resellers at Euro's 2050. You should speak to Cambo and discover you CAN make tilt/shift as we have a full range of lenses to achieve this.
